Courageous Motherhood: How one woman created courageous self love to be the example for her daughter.
One thing I always love to say, love and life is not all unicorns and rainbows. We can expect it to be, we can judge that it's not good if it's not all unicorns and rainbows, but really isn't it a journey of a lifetime to learn to navigate through the storms?
To embark on a conscious journey of self love, one of the key components if you ask me, is to allow oneself to accept oneself and one's circumstances as they are and design and build a life anyway. Yes, even in the middle of a storm.
In today's episode Moyra Gorski shares how she made herself important even though she was navigating challenges in motherhood. Moyra shares about how she consciously released the idea she could fix, manage and control her adult child experiencing the impacts of an incredibly challenging eating disorder. She explains how she created herself as the example of self love, made herself important, loved her child like a mighty warrior and consciously made sure she was not enabling her.
Sometimes as a mom we choose tough love and even though it's not all unicorns and rainbows, it is in the best interest of our children. This is a must listen for all moms and daughters. We all deserve self love, even in the storms.
